CANNERGROW | Information about the progress in Macedonia
Welcome back people,
Our project in Macedonia is progressing steadily. As is announced the approximately 30,000 m² plot near Skopje already bought and ready for the greenhouse. But let’s take a closer look. We will not build a simple greenhouse like the other companies in Macedonia.
Maybe you already have ” GMP ” (Good Manufacturing Practices) belongs. Currently, only a few growers can follow these GMP guidelines. There are many requirements that comply with the guidelines. Such as access control of the entire site, clean and hygienic areas and a very extensive documentation of the entire process of our growth from start to finish. Here we have already identified the first problems, the building must also comply with many guidelines and standards ( GACP , …),
ie. We can not build a normal greenhouse and follow the GMP guidelines, which is not possible because only one mandatory rule: the building must be completely closed and have a solid footing as our interior in Switzerland.
It is the main conflict, we want to go for the maximum quality, but also to provide the resources. In Switzerland we have many lights, practically no sunshine from outside (indoor cultivation). In Macedonia we go one step further, the electricity is cheaper there, but why should we use lights if we have the perfect sunlight there? Right, we do not want that. And here is the solution: We are building an indoor plant with a kind of greenhouse roof (with lots of glass). This allows us to use natural sunlight and comply with GMP guidelines. This will open a much larger door for cannabis exports from Cannerald.
If you also want to participate in our project, you can read more about our plant sales here. Get your breeding ground in our new factory in Macedonia.
